Softball Recap: Jefferson Comes Up Short

Jefferson was the 14-3 winner over Edison when they last played one another back in March, but their luck changed this time around. The Mustangs came up short against the Golden Bears on Thursday, falling 15-2. The Mustangs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Leia Galindo was cooking despite her team's loss, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base and two RBI. Another player making a difference was Mia Torres, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one run.

Jefferson's loss dropped their record down to 5-13. As for Edison, with the win, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 3-13-1.

As of now, neither Jefferson nor the Golden Bears have any future games scheduled.
