Irving is a perfect 9-0 against Richardson since January of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Saturday. The Irving Tigers are taking a road trip to challenge the Richardson Eagles at 2:00 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this game.

Things were looking good for Irving after they put the first points on the board on Friday, but unfortunately for them things went downhill from there. They fell just short of Pearce by a score of 3-2. The Tigers have been going strong on the season, but this is now their second defeat in a row.

Meanwhile, Richardson has been on a difficult stretch since their win on January 16. They lost 4-0 to Nimitz on Friday.

Richardson's loss dropped their record down to 1-13. As for Irving, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-3.

Irving was able to grind out a solid victory over Richardson when the teams last played back in January, winning 3-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for Irving since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
