Basketball Game Preview: Coldwater Cardinals vs. DeWitt Panthers

A feisty cat fight will be fought as Coldwater Cardinals duke it out with DeWitt Panthers at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Both teams are coming into the game red-hot, with Coldwater sitting on five straight wins and DeWitt on 23.

Coldwater's tournament run continued when they took on Lakeshore on Monday. Coldwater walked away with a 37-30 victory over Lakeshore.

DeWitt hadn't beaten Holt on the road since February 20, 2024 but that history sure didn't bother them on Monday. DeWitt strolled past Holt with points to spare, taking the game 57-38.

Coldwater's win bumped their record up to 17-8. As for DeWitt, their victory bumped their record up to 24-1.

Coldwater came up short against DeWitt when the teams last played back in March of 2019, falling 51-41. Can Coldwater avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
