It was a good run, but Albany unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Wednesday. They came up short against the Las Lomas Knights, falling 9-3. The Cougars were not able to make up for their defeat to the Knights from their previous meeting back in March of 2024.

Albany saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Tour? Hudson, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base. That's the most hits Hudson has posted since back in April of 2024.

Albany suffered their first road loss, dropping their record down to 6-3. As for Las Lomas, the victory got them back to even at 3-3-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. A feisty cat fight will be fought as Albany Cougars duke it out with Bethel Jaguars at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Las Lomas, they will head out to face off against Sonoma Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday.
