Basketball Recap: Rank Disadvantage No Problem for Delcastle Technical

Delcastle Technical's game on Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They managed a 62-58 victory over the Howard Wildcats. The win was all the more spectacular given the Cougars' disadvantage in MaxPreps' Delaware basketball rankings (they are ranked 41st, while the Wildcats are ranked eighth).

Several Wildcats players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Bryson Lane, who posted 19 points and seven boards. Lane continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Nick Baysah, who had 13 points along with seven rebounds and three steals.
