Basketball Recap: Heritage Christian Takes a Loss

If Heritage Christian was feeling good fresh off their 92-62 takedown of Eagle Ridge Academy last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Heritage Christian were just a bucket shy of victory on Thursday and fell 95-94 to the New Life Academy Eagles. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Tuesday (92), Heritage Christian still had to take the loss.

Heritage Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 12-3. As for New Life Academy, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-11.

Coming up, Heritage Christian will challenge Christ's Household of Faith at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for New Life Academy, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 74-70 loss against Nova Classical Academy/Fit Academy Charter on the 7th.
