After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Sterlington, West Ouachita was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They blew past the Caldwell Parish Spartans 28-6. The victory continues a trend for the Chiefs in their matchups with the Spartans: they've now won six in a row.

The win got West Ouachita back to even at 3-3. As for Caldwell Parish, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4.
