Volleyball Game Preview: The Vanguard School Coursers vs. Manitou Springs Mustangs

The Vanguard School Coursers will take on the Manitou Springs Mustangs at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

On Saturday, The Vanguard School came up short against Pueblo County and fell 3-1.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-22, 20-25, 25-20.

Meanwhile, Manitou Springs made easy work of Atlas Preparatory School on Tuesday and carried off a 3-0 victory. The Mustangs haven't had any issues with the Gryphons recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive win against them.

Manitou Springs' victory bumped their record up to 5-8. As for The Vanguard School, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-4 record this season.

Everything went The Vanguard School's way against Manitou Springs in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, as The Vanguard School made off with a 3-0 win. Will the Coursers repeat their success, or do the Mustangs have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
