Football Recap: Wickliffe Starts Season with Victory Against Oberlin

Wickliffe had to kick off their season on the road on Friday, but they showed no ill effects. They breezed past the Oberlin Phoenix to the tune of 48-0. The Blue Devils have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Phoenix, too.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Wickliffe will take on Shaw at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Oberlin, they are headed away from home for the first time to take on Brooklyn at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
