Norwalk is a perfect 10-0 against Firebaugh since May of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Lancers will be playing at home against the Falcons at 3:15 p.m. After the two teams made easy work of their previous opponents, one won't be so lucky on Tuesday.
Norwalk's pitching crew heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They blew past Lynwood 12-0. Considering the Lancers have won seven games by more than five runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

David Ibarra looked comfortable as he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out eight over four innings pitched. That's the most strikeouts he has posted since back in February.
On the hitting side, Israel Molina was incredible, going 2-for-3 with one home run, one triple, and two RBI. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in March. The team also got some help courtesy of Marcus Castillo, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one home run and three RBI.
Norwalk lost a few balls and finished the game with two home runs. That's the most home runs they've managed all season.
Meanwhile, Firebaugh won against Dominguez on Tuesday with six runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Friday. The Falcons were the clear victors by a 6-0 margin over the Dons. The victory continues a trend for the Falcons in their matchups with the Dons: they've now won seven in a row.
The result came thanks to Kevin Heraldez's shutout, as he gave up just three hits and racked up nine Ks. He also tossed a walk, which is notable because Firebaugh is 2-1 when he allows at most one walk, but 3-6 otherwise.
At the plate, the team relied heavily on Andrew Flores, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one triple, one stolen base, and two RBI. That triple marked the first that he has hit this season. Nathan Reyes was another key player, getting on base in two of his three plate appearances with two stolen bases and one run.
Norwalk's win was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-10. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.0 run on average over those games. As for Firebaugh, their win bumped their record up to 5-7.
Norwalk beat Firebaugh 4-1 in their previous meeting back in March. Will the Lancers repeat their success, or do the Falcons have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
