Harlan gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Saturday. They walked away with a 48-40 victory over the East Central Hornets. The Hawks haven't had any issues with the Hornets recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

Harlan had a senior duo take command as Aldric Trotter gained 373 total yards and a touchdown and G'Ivori Graham gained 212 total yards and two touchdowns.

Coming up, Harlan is headed away from home for the first time to square off against Madison at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for East Central, they will welcome SA Roosevelt at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
