Basketball Recap: Roosevelt Piles Up the Points Against North Dallas

Roosevelt won the last time they faced North Dallas and things went their way on Friday too. The Roosevelt Mustangs blew past the North Dallas Bulldogs, posting a 78-44 win. Given the Mustangs' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 349th, while the Bulldogs are ranked 759th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

The victory made it two in a row for Roosevelt and bumps their season record up to 15-13. As for North Dallas, they have also been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 12-12 record this season.

Roosevelt has already played their next matchup (against Pinkston), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. North Dallas is taking a road trip to challenge Kimball at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Kimball will roll in looking for their ninth straight win, something North Dallas surely won't give up without a fight.
