Basketball Recap: Cotter Triumphs

Cotter hadn't done well against Lake City recently (they were 0-3 in their previous three matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Ramblers came out on top against the Tigers by a score of 81-74. This was payback for the Ramblers, who suffered a 61-58 loss the last time these two teams met.

Cotter has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they've averaged 87.5 points this season. As for Lake City, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-9.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Cotter will finish 2025 at home by hosting Arcadia at 8:00 a.m. on Monday. The Ramblers are facing the Raiders at the right time seeing as the Raiders are stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Lake City, they won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Winona at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
