 In what's become a running theme this season, Chandler Prep gave their fans yet another huge  win on Tuesday. They were the clear victor by  a  20-6 margin over the Sequoia Pathway Academy Pumas. The  victory was just what Chandler Prep needed coming off of  an  18-10 loss in their prior  matchup.
  Lucy Garner looked comfortable as she  tossed three innings while giving up   no  earned run off   two  hits (she also only allowed one  walk). She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in three consecutive pitching appearances.
 At the plate,  Kate Westervelt and  Giada Lowman did most of the damage at the plate:  Westervelt  scored four  runs and  stole two bases while going 4-for-4, while  Lowman  went 3-for-4 with two  stolen bases, four  RBI,  and two  runs. Another player making a difference was  Emily Ferruzzi, who  scored two  runs while going 2-for-3.
 Chandler Prep's win  ended  a  three-game drought at home  and  bumped them up to 6-7. As for Sequoia Pathway Academy, their defeat was  their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season, which  dropped their record down to 2-4.
 Chandler Prep will  take on Gilbert Classical Academy at 4:00  p.m.  on Thursday. One thing working in Chandler Prep's favor is that they have posted big  run totals  in their last five games. As for Sequoia Pathway Academy, they will head out on the road to  square off against  Santa Cruz Valley at 6:00  p.m.  on Tuesday.
