Football Recap: Landon's Undefeated Season over After Four Games

Landon was the 31-21 winner over Maret when they last played one another back in September of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Bears took a 35-26 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Frogs on Friday. The loss was the Bears' first of the season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Landon fell to 3-1. As for Maret, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Landon and Maret should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in their respective state rankings. The Bears (ranked 37th) will meet Bishop O'Connell (ranked 188th) at 4:30 p.m. on the 27th. Meanwhile, Maret will face off against Episcopal at 5:00 p.m. on Friday with a big rank advantage (9 vs. 67).
