Meanwhile, East Jessamine hadn't done well against Mercer County recently (they were 0-9 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. East Jessamine blew past Mercer County 76-39. The win was some much needed relief for the Jaguars as it spelled an end to their six-game losing streak.

East Jessamine's victory bumped their record up to 7-8. As for West Jessamine, they pushed their record up to 11-2 with the win, which was their sixth straight on the road.

West Jessamine strolled past East Jessamine in their previous meeting back in February of 2024 by a score of 65-47. Will West Jessamine repeat their success, or does East Jessamine have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
