Soccer Recap: Athens Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

Athens and Selinsgrove squared off in some playoff action on Wednesday, but Athens had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Seals by a score of 1-0. Athens have struggled against Selinsgrove recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.

Athens' loss dropped their record down to 11-6-2. As for Selinsgrove, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 10-8-2.

As of now, neither Athens nor the Seals have any future games scheduled.
