Soccer Recap: Monday's Win Is Jordan's Seventh in Last Nine Outings

There's no place like home for Jordan, who bounced back after a loss on the road two weeks ago. Their defense stepped up to hand the Paetow Panthers a 2-0 shutout on Monday. Given the Warriors' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 19th, while the Panthers are ranked 127th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Aiden Erol and Andres Chavez scored both of Jordan's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 19 goals.

Jordan has been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-1-6 record this season. Paetow's loss dropped their record down to 10-9-3.

As of now, neither Jordan nor Paetow have any future games scheduled.
