Baseball Recap: Amador's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

After only one run in their last match, Amador made sure to put some runs up on the board against Rosemont on Tuesday. Amador put the hurt on Rosemont with a sharp 13-3 win. The result was nothing new for the Buffaloes, who have now won four games by seven runs or more so far this season.

Amador let Sam Baker and Brad Blankenheim run wild. Baker scored two runs and stole two bases while going 1-for-4, while Blankenheim scored three runs and stole a base while going 3-for-4. That's the most runs Baker has posted since back in April of 2024. Joe Lynch was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing a base while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.

With the victory, Amador broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 5-7-1. As for Rosemont, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-6-1.

Amador will have a chance to go back-to-back against Rosemont: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
