Basketball Recap: Darby Takes a Loss

Darby was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They had to suffer through a 78-28 loss at the hands of the Loyola-Sacred Heart Rams . The contest marked the Tigers' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Darby's defeat dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Loyola-Sacred Heart, they pushed their record up to 12-1 with the victory, which was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season.

Darby will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Florence-Carlton at 7:00 p.m. on February 13th. As for Loyola-Sacred Heart, they will be playing at home against Valley Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Loyola-Sacred Heart has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 249 points over their last three games.
