There's no place like home for New Braunfels, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They never let the Alamo Heights Mules get on the board and left with a 1-0 win on Thursday. This was a revenge game for the Unicorns: when they faced off against the Mules on Tuesday, they had to take a 4-3 loss.

New Braunfels' record now sits at 20-6. As for Alamo Heights, their defeat was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 8-17-1.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. New Braunfels is set to square off against their familiar foe Boerne at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Unicorns 1.9, the Greyhounds 3.7) so any runs scored will be well earned. Meanwhile, Alamo Heights will challenge rival Wagner at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
