Basketball Recap: New Hope Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for New Hope, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Saturday. They secured a 47-43 W over the Pontotoc Warriors on Tuesday. The Trojans have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Warriors, too.

New Hope has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 6-4 record this season. As for Pontotoc, their defeat was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 8-7.

New Hope will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Holmes County Central on December 28th. Pontotoc will take on Lewisburg in a holiday battle at at 2:30 p.m. on Thursday.
