League recap: Kilian's hot bat leads St. Joseph's Collegiate Institute

Donny Kilian was the hottest hitter in the league this week, racking up a .440 average, three home runs and 12 RBIs. Meanwhile, St. Joseph's Collegiate Institute put together a 5-1 week.

Chris Falk was the best pitcher in the league this week. He won one game and struck out 13 batters.

The Marauders boasted the best pitching over the past week, holding opponents to the league's fewest hits and issuing the fewest walks. St. Joseph's Collegiate Institute's pitchers have been charged with only 85 hits and have struck out 125 batters. Falk is tops on the staff with 39 Ks.

The Marauders' 65 hits this week were the most in the league, adding to their season total of 152, best of any team. Jared Baldinelli has a team-high 24 hits on the season for first-place St. Joseph's Collegiate Institute, which went 5-1 this week.
