Softball Recap: East Moline United Takes a Loss

Fans were treated to a battle of the Panthers on Saturday. East Moline United fell 6-2 to Washington. East Moline United was not able to repeat the success they had when they faced Washington earlier this season, when they won 2-1.

Mea Johnson made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-3 with one home run.

East Moline United's defeat dropped their record down to 6-3. As for Washington, their victory bumped their record up to 6-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. East Moline United will head out to take on East Peoria at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Washington, they will venture away from home to square off against Limestone at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
