Softball Recap: Thomas A. Edison Owls vs. Nueva Esperanza
Thomas A. Edison was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 20-9 to Nueva Esperanza. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Owls of the 13-10 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.
Omalis Rivera was cooking despite her team's loss, getting on base in three of her four plate appearances with one home run, three runs, and four RBI. Zachira Gonzalez was another key player, getting on base in all four of her plate appearances.
