Mercy School Institute fought the good fight in their overtime game against Immanuel Lutheran Christian Academy on Tuesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They took a 50-44 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Immanuel Lutheran Christian Academy N/A. The Mustangs were up 25-11 in the second quarter but couldn't hold on to the lead.

When it comes to explaining why Mercy School Institute lost, don't look at Taim Salkini. Despite the final result, he posted 21 points. That's the most points Salkini has posted since back in November of 2023. Another player making a difference was Hud Abdulhakim, who had 11 points.
