Recap: Plano East Panthers vs. Plano West Wolves
After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Coppell, The Plano East Panthers were happy to have found some success on Friday. They claimed a resounding 56-13 win over Plano West at home. The result was nothing new for Plano East, who have now won three matchups by 23 points or more so far this season.
Drew Devillier had an outrageously good game as he threw for 271 yards and five touchdowns while completing 76% of his passes. Another player making a difference was Ezra O'neal iii, who picked up 118 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
Plano East's victory was their fourth straight at home, bumping their overall record up to 5-3. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 44.0 points per game. As for Plano West, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-7.
Plano East will head out on the road to face off against Lewisville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Lewisville will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak. As for Plano West, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against Hebron at 7:00 p.m. Hebron presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Plano West in Texas (Hebron is ranked 173rd, while Plano West is ranked 500th).
