Basketball Recap: Lakeside Lutheran Skates Past New Glarus with Ease

Lakeside Lutheran won the last time they faced New Glarus and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Lakeside Lutheran Warriors blew past the New Glarus Glarner Knights, posting a 73-43 victory. The Warriors have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three matchups by 24 points or more this season.

Leading Lakeside Lutheran to victory were Wes Rahn and Easton Wolfram. Rahn dropped a double-double on 17 points and 12 boards, while Wolfram went 6 of 10 on his way to 13 points along with six boards and three steals. Rahn has been hot for a while, having posted nine or more boards the last 14 times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Brady Wolfram, who posted 12 points.

Lakeside Lutheran pushed their record up to 7-1 with the win, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season. As for New Glarus, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 6-4.

Lakeside Lutheran will take on Columbus at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for New Glarus, they will challenge Belleville at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
