Basketball Recap: Plainfield Central Takes a Loss

Plainfield Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They came up short against the Minooka Indians, falling 55-34. While losing is never fun, the Wildcats can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Illinois basketball rankings (they are ranked 655th, while the Indians are ranked 209th).

Plainfield Central's defeat dropped their record down to 1-17. As for Minooka, their victory was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 11-8.

Plainfield Central will head out to challenge Bolingbrook at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Bolingbrook will roll in looking for their ninth straight win, something Plainfield Central surely won't give up without a fight. As for Minooka, they will be playing at home against Joliet West at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
