It was a good run, but Carter unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Tuesday. They took a 46-35 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Pinkston Vikings. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Cowboys this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 49-20 back in December of 2024.

Carter's loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 11-10. As for Pinkston, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 16-13.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Carter will face off against Lincoln at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Lincoln is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 54.8 points per game this season. Pinkston has already played their next matchup (against Wilmer-Hutchins), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
