Basketball Game Preview: Marshall Christian Academy Stallions vs. Glen Iris Baptist Swordsmen

The Marshall Christian Academy Stallions will challenge the Glen Iris Baptist Swordsmen at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Marshall Christian Academy will come in still looking for their first win of the season.

Last Tuesday, Marshall Christian Academy ended up a good deal behind Pineview Christian and lost 47-32.

Meanwhile, Glen Iris Baptist unfortunately witnessed the end of their eight-game winning streak back in December of 2024. They took a 37-33 hit to the loss column at the hands of Mt. Pleasant Christian.

Marshall Christian Academy will need focus on slowing down Leah Griffin, one of several Glen Iris Baptist players who made an impact when they last played. She posted 14 points along with seven rebounds and three blocks. The team also got some help courtesy of Rebekah Everett, who earned nine points and four steals.

Glen Iris Baptist's defeat was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 8-2. As for Marshall Christian Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 0-4.
