It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Hartselle had no problem doing just that on Thursday. They walked away with a 5-3 win over the Gadsden City Titans. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for Hartselle considering their one-goal performance the contest before.

They hit Gadsden City with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Emma Barran (2), Lilly Culpepper, Katelyn Dolbeer, and Analyn Sivley.

Hartselle's victory bumped their record up to 16-6-1. As for Gadsden City, the loss snapped their winning streak at 15 matches and leaves them with a 18-6 record.

Looking ahead, Hartselle will face off against Athens on Monday. Athens will roll in looking for their tenth straight win, something Hartselle surely won't give up without a fight. Gadsden City does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
