Volleyball Recap: Des Moines East Takes a Loss

The Des Moines East Scarlets came up short against the Mid-Prairie Golden Hawks on Saturday and fell 2-0. While getting shut out isn't ideal, the Scarlets haven't been shut out since back in August.

Des Moines East's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Mid-Prairie, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 16-4.

Des Moines East has already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Carlisle on the 27th. As for Mid-Prairie, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Des Moines North on the 27th.
