Fremd had won seven straight road games and Lily Mayer did her part to make it eight on Friday. The Vikings really took it to the Glenbrook South Titans for the full four quarters, racking up a 39-7 win with plenty of help from Mayer, who threw for 287 yards and four TDs, and also rushed for 94 yards and a pair of scores. She has been hot recently, having posted three or more passing touchdowns the last four times she's played.
Fremd's leading receiver Asya Poyraz was Mayer's top target yet again, picking up 162 receiving yards and two touchdowns. Poyraz was no stranger to the big play, lighting up the secondary with a catch that went for 58 yards.
Fremd's defense made their presence known, laying out the QB five times. The heavy lifting was done by MacKenzie Drake and Payton Kemeny, who racked up all five sacks between them.
