Basketball Recap: Madison Now 17-2 over Last 19 Games

Madison proved they can win big last Friday (they won by 29) and on Tuesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 51-48 victory over the Oak Grove Tigers. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Jaguars have posted since February 6, 2024.

Madison has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 17 of their last 19 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 20-6 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.6 points per game. As for Oak Grove, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-4.

A feisty cat fight is on tap when the Madison Jaguars duke it out with the Beekman Charter Tigers at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. As for Oak Grove, they are taking a road trip to face off against Delhi Charter at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
