Football Recap: Wharton Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Wharton extended their losing streak to four on Friday, dropping them down to 4-6. They were dealt a 49-0 defeat at the hands of the Armwood Hawks. The game marked the first time this year in which the Wildcats were not able to get on the board.

As for Armwood, the win keeps them at an undefeated 9-0. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 5.7 points on average this season.

Rhys Brush had another great game (as he tends to do), throwing for 125 yards and two TDs while completing 85.7% of his passes, and also rushing for 46 yards and one touchdown. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in passer rating (165.2). Desean Sharrieff was Brush's top target, picking up 61 receiving yards and a pair of scores.

Wharton does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Armwood, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Riverview at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
