Softball Game Preview: Worland Warriors vs. Campbell County Camels

The Worland Warriors will challenge the Campbell County Camels at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Worland comes in still looking for their first win of the season.

Worland is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They came up short against Natrona County on Saturday, falling 23-9.

Molly Glanz made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 2-for-2 with three RBI, one triple, and one run. The team also got some help courtesy of Aedyn Donahue, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two stolen bases, one run, and one RBI.

Meanwhile, Campbell County faced Thunder Basin in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Tuesday. The Camels came out on top in a nail-biter against the Bolts, sneaking past 14-12.

Bayley Gray was a standout: she went 2-for-3 with three RBI, two runs, and one stolen base. Lanae Kimbley was another key player, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two stolen bases, three RBI, and one run.

Campbell County hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. The team has now struck out at least five batters every time they've taken the field this season.

Campbell County is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-3 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 14.6 runs over those games. As for Worland, their loss dropped their record down to 0-10.
