Elbert extended their road winning streak to five games thanks to a huge performance from Melanie Hermes. The Bulldogs came out on top against the Miami-Yoder Buffaloes by a score of 3-1 on Tuesday for which the team can thank Hermes, who had 23 digs and two aces. She has been hot, having posted 17 or more digs the last six times she's played.

Elbert was especially dominant in the fourth set. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-16, 22-25, 25-14.

Elbert's win was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 11-4. As for Miami-Yoder, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-7 record this season.

Elbert has already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Hanover on the 25th. As for Miami-Yoder, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 3-0 defeat against Pikes Peak Christian on the 25th.
