Softball Recap: Monroe County Comes Up Short

Monroe County lost against Excel last Wednesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. Monroe County came up short against Excel, falling 18-0. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Monroe County's loss dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Excel, they have been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine games. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-7 record this season.

Coincidentally, Monroe County and Excel will both be playing Hillcrest the next time they take the field. Excel will host Hillcrest at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, while Monroe County will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
