Soccer Recap: Bunn Comes Up Short

Bunn lost against Nash Central back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Bunn came up short against Nash Central, falling 9-0. While losing is never fun, Bunn can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 413th, while Nash Central are ranked 35th).

Bunn's loss was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Nash Central, their victory bumped their record up to 6-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bunn will host Roanoke Rapids at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Roanoke Rapids will roll in looking for their eighth straight win, something Bunn surely won't give up without a fight. As for Nash Central, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Tarboro at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Nash Central is facing Tarboro at the right time seeing as Tarboro is stuck on a five-game losing streak.
