Volleyball Recap: Maricopa Institute of Technology Gets the Win

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against BASIS Phoenix, Maricopa Institute of Technology was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Empower College Prep Wolf 3-2. For the Iron Eagles, this counts as revenge for the 3-1 win the Wolf walked away with the last time they faced one another back in September of 2024.

Maricopa Institute of Technology's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-4. As for Empower College Prep, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-5.

Coincidentally, Maricopa Institute of Technology and Empower College Prep will both be playing Trinity Christian the next time they take the court. The Iron Eagles will head out to face the Warriors at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, while the Wolf will host them on October 20.
