Volleyball Recap: Lapel Bulldogs vs. Hamilton Heights Huskies

Lapel suffered their biggest defeat since September 2nd on Wednesday. They came up short against the Hamilton Heights Huskies, falling 3-0. The loss continues a trend for the Bulldogs in their meetings with the Huskies: they've now lost six in a row.

While Lapel was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-22, 25-7.

Laniah Wills paced Lapel's offense, picking up seven kills. Wills got some help from Bella Roland and her 15 assists. Finally, Wills was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high two blocks.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lapel will face off against Sheridan at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Hamilton Heights, they will take on Pendleton Heights at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
