After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Moravia, Sauquoit Valley was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Cooperstown Hawkeyes with a sharp 40-20 victory. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Sauquoit Valley's win bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Cooperstown, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-2.
