Basketball Recap: North Oconee Picks Up Fourth Consecutive Win

North Oconee won the last time they faced East Forsyth and things went their way on Tuesday too. The North Oconee Titans came out on top against the East Forsyth Broncos by a score of 61-52. Given the Titans' advantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 18th, while the Broncos are ranked 200th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

The victory (which was North Oconee's fourth in a row) raised their record to 16-1. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 29.8 points. As for East Forsyth, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-12 record this season.

Coincidentally, North Oconee and East Forsyth will both be playing Walnut Grove the next time they take the court. North Oconee will head out to face Walnut Grove at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, while East Forsyth will host them at 6:00 p.m. on January 14th.
