Maclay has gone 6-0-1 against Suwannee recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Marauders will take on the Bulldogs in a holiday battle at 7:00 p.m. Maclay is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt wants to keep things rolling.

Maclay had to skate by with only a one-goal margin when they last took the pitch, which might have inspired the three-goal drubbing they dealt Florida State University High School on Wednesday. The Marauders never let the Seminoles get on the board and left with a 3-0 win. The final result isn't all that surprising considering Maclay's considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Florida soccer rankings (they are ranked 24th, while Florida State University High School are ranked 488th).

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Suwannee). They blew past Middleburg 4-1 on Friday. Suwannee's winning goal came courtesy of Rember Alonso.

Maclay's victory bumped their record up to 7-0-2. As for Suwannee, their win bumped their record up to 5-6-3.

Maclay took their victory against Suwannee in their previous matchup back in November by a conclusive 5-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Marauders since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
