It may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but Lafayette ultimately got the result they hoped for on Tuesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 4-3 victory over the Tabb Tigers. The win was some much needed relief for the Rams as it spelled an end to their five-game losing streak.

Cade Hunt was excellent, going 2-for-3 with one run and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Kyle Kramer, who went 2-for-4 with one run and one RBI.

Lafayette's record now sits at 2-8. As for Tabb, they moved to 7-3 with that loss, which also ended their five-game winning streak.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Lafayette is set to take on their familiar foe Smithfield at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Tabb will face off against rival Jamestown at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
