Football Recap: South Anchorage Comes Up Short + How To Watch

After flying high against Dimond last Saturday, South Anchorage came back down to earth. The Wolverines took a 16-12 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Service Cougars on Saturday. The Wolverines have struggled against the Cougars recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Jimmy Massey threw for 64 yards on six of 12 attempts. Kaiden Coleman Arroyo was his top target, picking up 34 receiving yards. On the ground, Ethan Yarrington rushed for 41 yards and one touchdown.

South Anchorage suffered their first road defeat, dropping their record down to 6-2. As for Service, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-2.

As of now, neither South Anchorage nor the Cougars have any future games scheduled.
