Basketball Recap: Life Waxahachie Takes a Loss

Life Waxahachie lost against Godley back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Life Waxahachie Mustangs were outmatched by the Godley Wildcats and fell 78-34. While losing is never fun, the Mustangs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 1134th, while the Wildcats are ranked 117th).

Life Waxahachie has traveled a rocky road recently having lost 12 of their last 13 matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-20 record this season. As for Godley, their win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 24-5.

Life Waxahachie has already played their next game, a 38-36 loss against Alvarado on the 24th. As for Godley, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 58-23 victory against Venus on the 24th.
