Given the Eagles' advantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 397th, while the Lancers are ranked 957th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Vista del Lago now has a winning record of 13-12. As for Cordova, they are on a 14-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-19.
