Stanley lost to South Beauregard back in April of 2019, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Saturday. The Panthers walked away with a 5-1 win over the Knights. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Panthers.

Paige Campbell spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned run on seven hits and racked up nine Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in five consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Kraegan Jordan, who went 1-for-3 with one home run and three RBI. Harper Rutherford was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one run.

Stanley hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. The team has now struck out at least four batters in three consecutive matchups.

Stanley's victory bumped their record up to 11-3. As for South Beauregard, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-3.

Stanley has already played their next game, a 10-2 win against Byrd on the 9th. South Beauregard has also already played their next contest (against Barbe), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
